CMF Design Intern

Philips Design Shanghai Studio:

The 2nd largest Studio in Philips Design, the team mixed with multi talent designers, covering from product design, CMF design, UI/UX, communication design, and service design. 

Job Summary

• Creating CMF proposal for new product, including color range, material application, and finishing refinement
• Trend analysis: studying home appliances products in existing markets, including China and foreign countries
• Assisting design daily matters: communication with supplier, arranging color chips, checking appearance samples
• In this role, you will learn and involve in the full process of product design. You will work closely not only with CMF designer, but also product designer and experience design lead.

You will report to

Sr CMF Designer

You will be

• Creating a complete CMF proposal for new product
• Finishing at least one trend analysis report
• Assist building up CMF library
• Creating experience flow for related categories

You will work for

• China Personal Health Category which includes Male Grooming, Beauty, Mother & Childcare, etc.

You have

• Capable using software Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keyshot
• Fluent communication skills in both Chinese and English
